Covering the best 60's, 70's, 80's Classic Rock'n Roll, Soul, & Rhythm & Blues
The idea for forming the band, "ONE MORE TIME," came about 12 years ago
when Roger Nelson (bass guitar) put together a band to play at a surprise 40th
birthday party for his wife Vicki (vocalist). He enlisted the help of Mark Poole
(former vocalist) as they had played together in a high school band called "The
Prophets." Recalling his high school memories along with the favorable
response received at the birthday party, Roger couldn't quite put the idea to
rest. Wanting to play just "one more time," he began recruiting musicians,
recording music, and planning a performance... one performance... at a local bar.
When the big night came, the response was so overwhelming that it became
many more times for “ONE MORE TIME”! Since the majority of the band
members have played in other groups over the years, the name really captures
the originating spirit!!
From it's inception in June of 1995, "ONE MORE TIME" has had a goal...to make
good music, put on a good show, and make sure everyone has a good time!
Featuring brass, keyboards, and powerful vocals, this 9-piece band plays
rhythm & blues, soul, and classic rock & roll from the '60's and '70's with a style
all it's own. "ONE MORE TIME" is definitely a dance band but also provides a
show for those who don't wish to venture out on the dance floor. With a wide
variety of ages to it's credit (band members range in age from the 30's to 50's),
"ONE MORE TIME" has an entertaining energy that appeals to all age groups.
